hey people...
beanie is offically back again.
after about two months of hiatus(i really did that?!), i am sure you missed me right...
CUT THE CRAP.
Okie, if you are wondering why I stopped updating since 23rd November 2006, i have to tell you the real reason...
I don't even know why myself. Really.
Maybe I was a tad too busy, you know, with the secondary school choices, posting, hongkong trip, first day of school, campfire, first day of lessons-and FINALLY- COMPUTER WAS PRONOUNCED DEAD.
So i will start from where i stopped last year. and it is going to be a really long post this time.

Secondary School Choices----
I was freaking out by then. 246?!?! Outrageous. I couldn't really fit anything into my mind except Anderson. Then Zanniies called me on Sunday(we have to submit the form on Wednesday.).
Zanniies:Hello beaniies!
Beaniies:Yeah, HI Zan. You sound great.
Z: Nothing much to worry beanies, we can go Cedar rights...? First-Cedar, Second-Xinmin. Third-
B: Oh well, if you insist.
............
the conversation continued between us. for about-35 mins?
Z: But I dun tink I can go Cedar, my marks so low!
B: Then we go XInmin lorrhs.
Z: No BB team!
B: Can I remind you that earlier on, you are the one that persuaded me to go Cedar?

So when we finally hung up, both of us placed Cedar 1st, Xinmin 2nd. We gave the form on Monday... and waited for the results...

The rest if the month...----
I spent the rest of the week mopping around, reading my all-time fave manga Absolute Boyfriend, went to a couple of b'day parties.
First it was Laureen's, which was quite ordinary, and the last one is Jessica's. Surprise, surprise. Jonathan turned up as the only boy. We mopped around, before Shaiis, Jeras, Rays, Zanns and miie went to the pool to play(without any swimsuit). Kinda fun actually. Hehe.
And after the party, i was kinda excited... I am flying to hongkong the next day!

HONGKONG!----
Adieu, Singapore. Halo, Hongkong!
Day 1~
My parents, sis and grandma roamed near our hotel for lunch on the day we reached there. We are pretty tired by then. So we went to our hotel(The Salisbury, YMCA) to rest, and joined a 1-day night tour with a local guide.
She brought us to taste some wonderful Hongkong cuisine for dinner, and went up to Victoria Peak for the fascinating night view of HK. It was kinda cold too.
Next we went for a little cruise to the other side of HK, and we went to the Avenue of Stars. The handprints of famous HK stars were all placed on the ground, and passer-bys were stepping on them! **horrified** Lastly, we sat an open-top bus to Ladies' Street to shop, but there is nothing much there. Sad.
We sat a cab back to the hotel and had a good night's sleep as we were ever so tired.
Day 2~
We went to a mountain, Da Yu Shan by train, which they call it the MTR. We went right up to the top to offer blessings to this huge statue of the Buddha.
I counted the steps to reach there. 280 exactly. Hahas.
After that we went to Yau Ma tei for dinner, and there were little stores selling stuff. I bought some things for shaiis and zanniies and of course, myself. My sister bought some weird toys for her pals too. Then, we went back to YMCA...
Day 3~
We waited for our cousins, aunt and uncle to arrive. They joined us, and they went to the Da Yu Shan, while we went to a temple, before going to the goldfish street or something.
We shopped around there, and I saw some cute chinchillas! They were eating their dinner, mostly gobbling it up.
The five of us then dined at a nearby restaurant.
Day 4~
MUAHAHAHAS. Disneyland, here we come!!
This time, we went there with our cousins, aunt and uncle. Although it isn't our first time to Disneyland(my mum, sis and I went to Japan's disney bon December 2005.), we were pretty damned excited.
With the kids leading the way(by the maps), we reached Tomorrowland at 11 sharp.
We tried the Orbitron first, and that was just the warm-up.
Next, we decided to try the Spaced Mountain as the description of the map is pretty thrilling.(Take a ride on a space car, 4 people each, and exprience the thrilling high-drops, sharp turns and fascinating view!) Actually it sounds scary, but we tried it with my mum and aunt.
We queued up for the ride and -terror- my sister and my older cousin, Jaslyn, were seperated from us! But we had no choice, the cars were coming... My smaller cousin, Joevyn, 8, sat inside and got a bit scared. She held my hand tightly and, the car went up-down-left-right! And it climbed very high, and dropped down! Sometimes I really felt sharp turns, and my back was kinda hurting, when we finally reached the station, I was very giddy, but we laughed when we stepped out of the station. And my mum told me that, those sharp turns were 360 degrees! **faint**
We ate lunch(yum, fried rice!) and went for Autopia! It was really fun, but eventually, we had to move on, to Buzz Astro's LightBlasters.
Bang,bang! Sure it was fun, and hehes, I got the most points for the first time! 11900, i think. Yeah! We played it again and again for 3 times. We were pretty warmed-up.
Next we went to Fantasyland, for some bogus pirate ride. Not a bit scary at all! after that, we sat on Pooh's hunnypot, and it was a bit of scary. A lil', haha.
Then the darned Jungle Ride, which got me all wet. X(( There isn't much so we watched the fireworks display and went back to the YMCA.
Day 5~
We will be sitting the 6pm flight home. Sad sad. X(( We went to Ocean Park, which was not a bit of fun, so we went to the YMCA, took our luggages, and went to the airport. The Mr Bean show was funny, and my sister, aka the freak, laughed so loudly, and me, even with the head phones on, can hear her horrible laughter. After the dinner, we got a stick of ice-cream! Yippees!
